Eleven year old Ida (Stephania Potalivo) finds herself with adult responsibility when a depression drives her mother into an alcoholic binge. Tired of cooking, cleaning and looking after little brother (Maurice Blinkenberg), roughly six years of age, our heroine makes a suicide attempt, hoping to straighten her mother out. Follows Buldermanden; followed by Ogginoggen.
