This is the first film by Adolfo Aristarain.
It´s the first in a trilogy of thrillers (considered by some to be noir films) that were made during the years of the dictatorship: the other two are Tiempo de revancha (1981) and Últimos días de la víctima (1982).
Despite the critic hailed the film, it was a failure, but served to introduce Aristarain's name to moviegoers.
The film tells the story of Bruno di Toro, a man with a failed marriage and a mediocre job, who finds money rom a robbery and decides to keep it. Now the robbers are after him.
