Vincent Dieutre - Fragments sur la grace (2006)

A filmmaker attempts to delve, with his crew, into the incandescent world of Port-Royal and Jansenism, sketching by fragments another Great Century, strangely familiar, that of Pascal, Racine, and the “Amis de la Vérité.” Landscapes traversed, precious readings, interviews, and work notes intertwine, but the historical quest slowly starts to spin dizzily.
