Yûji Tajiri - Himo no Hiroshi AKA Sex Machine (2005)

Description: There is nothing like a good romantic comedy, especially when it is paired with cricket wrestling. Haruka is a single mother who meets a new guy. Hiroshi is unemployed, but gets along well with her son. The two lovers get along great. So great that they are having frantic sex whenever they are together. The sex alternates with the local pastime of cricket wrestling. Hiroshi is trying to beat the champ Anzai, whom he has never met. His prime cricket gets in some hot water - actually hot oil, and he now needs to find another.

Instead of surreal, artistic flourishes, SEX MACHINE aims more toward the sophomoric and slapstick, making it more accessible than other pink eiga because of a lack of pretension. A short, enjoyable film, SEX MACHINE is a quirky love story that will appeal to more than just fans of Japanese sex cinema. Its tender yet bizarre happy ending will put a smile on your face and you may even have a few laughs along the way.
