This animation short is directed by true innovator: Winsor McKay. His comics vere ahead of his time if you look at angles, composition, etc. Even now movie directors can find inspiration in his works.
Here he invites his friends (famous comic artists) to show them a living dinosaur Gertie and to interact with her.
This film looks like an early Walt Disney style but Winsor was the first to do such thing.
