PLOT DESCRIPTION
In an off-beat story told in three acts and an epilogue, a young writer tries unsuccessfully to get his manuscript titled "The Blue Mountains" published, revealing some very incompetent office types in the process. When the writer walks into the publishing house in Tbilisi, he first tries to find the right person to read his work and consider it for publication. In one office after another, the manuscript is taken but ignored because the reader had something better or more pressing or more interesting to do in the meantime. Just about ready to give up, the discouraged writer notices a crack in the ceiling of the publisher's building that portends an enormous disaster unless the structural flaw is fixed.
