Jun Ichikawa - Tokyo rendering kashu AKA Tokyo rendering shishu (2009)

One of Jun Ichikawa's last films (and the last to be released) is this dialogue-less portrait of the sights and sounds of Tokyo. The images are abstracted so as to look like brush strokes, which provides a totally unique view of the city.

Although there are no subtitles, there is no dialogue to translate anyhow. There are, however, a few untranslated titles, but this shouldn't detract from the experience.
