six cast offs from survivor philippines played in the latest episode of tok! tok! tok! isang milyon pasok! which is also hosted by survivor philippines host paolo bediones. the blue team is composed of jury members jace & vern, yellow team was made up of cast offs kiko & patani and the red team is composed of john & nikki. they are also playing for their respective charities.

kiko answered the first 3 questions and patani successfully executed the first two challenges, the snapping turtle challenge and the cobra challenge. they challenged john and nikki in the third task, which is to lift a sumo player 6 feet above the ground. nikki & john failed to complete the task.

john answered the next question correctly and all teams bid on how fast they can finish a meal composed of rats and frogs. vern & jace won the bidding, they need to finish the meal at 1minute and 45 seconds. they were able to finish it just in time. kiko then answered the next question and they eventually reached the finish line and advanced to the jackpot round.

jace & vern won 10 thousand pesos for their charities while john & nikki failed to win anything.

kiko & patani played in the jackpot round and chose the door marked with a star. they were able to double their initial money of 40 thousand pesos. their charity won 80 thousand pesos and a computer set.

in another show, cast offs nina and chev guested in all star k, the 1 million pesos videoke challenge. in a episode where the contestants are look a likes, nina is paired with sexbomb mia and chev was paired with sexbomb izzy. both failed to win the contest. chev was eliminated in round 2 and nina was eliminated on the next round.

the four female cast offs (voted out cast aways) from survivor philippines are now the newest kapuso stars. as shown in the nightly news of gma 7, 24 oras, the four cast offs, chev macias, patani daño, vevherly gador and nikki dacullo signed their exclusive talent management contract with gma 7 yesterday. of the four, only patani has regular shows. she is currently part of unang hirit as its prinsesa ng palengke and eat bulaga.

survivor philippines: why patani lost

jervy daño is a morena househelper from cebu. she is a survivor in her own right, working at such an early stage and in pursuing her dream to enter showbusiness. she is definitely a strong woman with an interesting character. she is very loveable and entertaining. with all this into consideration, why did she lost in survivor philippines?

first, patani joined the game not to win the game but for exposure. as she has said before, she has always wanted to enter showbusiness and she saw survivor as a good venue for her to be discovered. she has showcased her talents all through out the show: hosting, singing, dancing and acting. joining the show for a different reason might have been a major reason why the tribe voted her off.

second, she did not impress the tribe in the challenges. as gigit has commented, she is the weakest link in the tribe so if they want to win the next challenges, they should vote her off. jace even commented that "making them laugh at the bonfire was the best thing that she did in the island so far." proving your worth in survivor is a must, but not a sure thing to keep you safe. but for me, she was impressive in the thai pillow challenge, challenging the naak girls everytime. naak tribe also did not choose her in the eating challenge, which means naak knows what she is capable of doing. but the tribe is not seeing this, based on the confessionals shown in the show.

third, she is not a strategic player. she has not fully committed to the girls alliance. she was shown laughing at how people at jarakay were scrambling to get alliances before the tribal council. she did not make any move to make her safe. if you want to win survivor, you must have a good strategy in mind. i think she did not come to the game prepared and she was not ready to play this complex game of survival.

lastly, she has said so many times that it is okay for her to go home anytime. when vern asked her in the beach if she still wants to stay in the island, she cannot give a straight answer. she also said this during tribal council, its okay if she was voted off. if i were her tribemate, why would i bother to think of voting anyone else if there is someone that i can vote out and its okay for her? it was definitely a no brainer.

if i would single out a reason or two on why she lost, it would definitely be lack of strategy and willingness to go. for the three weeks that the people has been watching her, she has undoubtedly become the most popular cast away. nothing is lost for her, this is just the beginning. with the exposure she got and her huge fan base, she can definitely make it big. but how long would her fame last? that is up to her, because show business is definitely like survivor, you should fight to stay in the business and survive all the odds.

survivor philippines: patani eliminated

after the controversial twist of double elimination, jervy daño became the fourth cast away voted off the island. patani, undoubtedly the most popular among the cast aways, was voted out after getting 3 votes from the jarakay tribe. other cast aways who got votes were niña (2 votes), nikki (2 votes) and john (1 vote). in her exit interview, patani said that she had no regrets joining survivor even though she did not last long because being in the show is an achievement in itself.

patani was yaya from talisay, cebu prior joining the show. as said in the show, her main reason in joining survivor philippines was to get exposure so she can get into show business. during her stay in the island, she was dubbed as the entertainer of jarakay tribe, showing off her numerous talents to the tribe at the bonfire. this also boosted her popularity among the followers of the show, she has been the topic of most of the fan forums in the internet.
